- THE R.S. COLLECTION A boldly colorful reflective Proof Barber half. Lovely contrast between the frosted devices and watery mirrored fields is enhanced by the rich, multicolored toning. A deeper violet blue is infused with golds, pinks, and magenta accents. This coin likely acquired its colorful palette while housed in an old album, as the only flaw worthy of mention are two "slide marks" on the cheek, seen with the aid of a glass. The eye appeal is wonderful. Only 846 Proofs were struck. PCGS 3, NGC 0. The last PCGS PR64+ CAM sold over a decade ago, realizing just shy of $3,000.
