- An enticingly choice Mint State example for the date. Fewer than a quarter million were struck, and this date is challenging in high grade. Crisply struck and with a bold frosty luster, this example has a totally original look. A few minor scuffs are seen with the aid of a glass, but the eye appeal is nice for the assigned grade. PCGS 787, NGC 319. The most recent to sell in auction realized $2,040 in October 2022 and the PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,750. The PCGS value jumps to $5,000 in MS64.
