- 1868 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66 Ultra Cameo (NGC). This is a gorgeous trime that nears the finest states of preservation known for this 600-piece Proof mintage. It is tied with only three other coins at NGC and just four are certified finer. The mirrors are deep and reflective, heavily contrasting with the richly frosted design elements.
