- (t) CHINA. Yunnan. Tael, ND (1943-44). Hanoi Mint. PCGS AU-55. L&M-435; K-939; KM-A3; WS-0704; Lec-325. Variety with small stag's head. Struck for use in the French Indo-China opium trade. Some metal impurities are noted on the obverse, fairly typical for the type. Otherwise, mostly light gray in color, with some hints of amber speckled throughout. Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000.
