详细说明: THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION This is an incredible quality GEM 1882 Trade dollar! This is a date in GEM that rarely is seen, either in auction or on the bourse floor. Only 1,097 Proofs were struck and this date is incredibly rare in GEM or finer grades. Blazing mirrored fields are ultra deep and reflective with a wonderful watery reflection and the devices stand out boldly in stark CAMEO contrast. Untoned, blazing silvery brilliance defines this impressive beauty. Nary a line, mark, or fleck can be seen anywhere to the naked eye, and the eye appeal is AMAZING. Only 1097 Proofs were struck. PCGS 15, NGC 31, CAC 5. Only 2 PR65+ CAMs are graded at PCGS and neither have sold in auction. The most recent comps are a PCGS/CAC PR65 sold 11 years ago for $10,925 and a PCGS/CAC PR66 sold in January 2020 for $15,600.
