- Unfunded and non-loaded. The present Buyer Funded, Black Address type is a scarce transitional variety with only 100 examples released. This particular example is even more desirable as Serial #1000. Lealana transitioned from the original pre-funded format to a buyer funded distribution model during the first half of 2014. This was in response to federal requirements from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) related to Money Services businesses.<p><p>The new buyer funded coins were produced with a green-colored address to denote this new format. However, a small group of 100 coins were issued with the outgoing black-colored address used for the pre-funded coins. These transitional pieces remain important artifacts from the foundational era of physical crypto.<p>
