Collection, sold in our October 2017 Regency Auction, where it was described as: "Love peripheral toning? Then you will LOVE this GEM! Richly mirrored fields superbly beam in the light and can be seen from across the room. Both sides are framed by a wonderful halo of original toning in rainbow hues. Well struck devices are highly frosted and provide a beautiful contrast against the rich mirrored fields. The eye appeal is high end and totally original." Only 800 Proofs were produced. PCGS 7, NGC 8, CAC 5. The most recent PCGS-graded coin sold in our January 2019 Regency Auction without CAC approval for $7,050. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,750.
