- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of William & Mary Silver Medal, 1689. William & Mary (1688-94). PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder. 35 mm; 16.91 gms. Eimer-312a; MI-I, 662/25. By J. Roettier. Conjoined draped busts of William and Mary right, he laureate; Reverse: Jove hurls thunderbolt at Phaethon who falls from his chariot. Struck version of the official coronation issue. A nice example with some light handling wear, adjustment marks and some scattered contact marks. Light toning throughout showing off the strong luster beneath which illuminates some golden orange and sky blue hues. Estimate: $350 - $500. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection.
