(t) CHINA. Kwangsi. 20 Cents, Year 13 (1924). Uncertain mint, likely Kweilin. NGC AU-58. L&M-171 (plated in 7th Edition); K-749d; KM-Y-415a.1; WS-0984. Variety with four-petaled rosettes and "kwei" at center. A somewhat elusive type, especially at this grade level, the present example delivers strong details and a soft luster. Limited instances of handling are seen, making this a most pleasing and appeal example for any specialist in the type. Estimate: $600 - $900.
