- GERMANY. Hannover. 5 Taler, 1855-B. NGC MS-66. Fr-1180; KM-224; Welter-3179; Fiala-5772. Housed within an old six digit NGC holder. The only example submitted at NGC with none seen at PCGS. The portrait in particular is of the highest quality, with nearly every hair on George V's head fully delineated, something the king himself could not have appreciated as he was blind by 1855 when this magnificent piece was made. A glorious example that is almost certainly the finest extant. Glistening luster and with a semi cameo effect contrasting the dark fields and bright devices.
