Rarely do you ever see Barber half dollars with such gorgeous toning, especially circulation strike examples! Both sides (the reverse in particular) are beautifully toned. Every shade on the visible spectrum makes its appearance in the toning patterns. The obverse has a dappled, mottled mélange of these hues, but the reverse has a beautiful target like pattern. Exceptionally lustrous and well struck, this is an amazing coin for the collector who desires beautifully toned coins. PCGS 2, NGC 1. We think this coin is worth more than the $1,600 listed in the Collectors Universe Price Guide, but only time will tell. The toning will certainly invite many bidders. Cert.
