Though not noted on the insert, this SUPERB GEM is the former D. Brent Pogue Collection coin. Both sides are awash in the most beautiful brilliant silver nickel luster that rolls vividly with wild cartwheels. A blush of iridescent rainbow pastel toning frames both sides of this virtually PERFECT superb example of the first year of issue. Exceptionally eye appealing and sitting at the Top of the Pop, this coin is worthy of the greatest Liberty Nickel set. PCGS 65, NGC 70, CAC 19. There are a dozen graded MS67+ and NONE are finer. This is the most recent example to sell in auction, realizing $4,320 in November 2020. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,650.
