- A lovely AU Draped Bust large cent. Pleasing, smooth surfaces show an even brown patina, with some lighter olive and rust orange color in the devices on the reverse. Both sides have a decent strike with sharp definition in the denticles and hair details. The eye appeal is great. This S-275 is within the condition census for the variety, the PCGS grade is the same as the Husak coin. This is a tricky coin to attribute, as the obverse for S-275 is similar to that of S-276, and both share the same reverse die. PCGS 3, NGC 0. The only 53 was the above mentioned Husak coin, which realized $6,325 in 2008. An S-276 in AU50 sold for $1,880 in July 2013 and an S-275 in AU55 sold for $3,450 in 2008. The CU value is $2,850.
