详细说明: This is a very attractive GEM Proof with bold cameo contrast. This marvelous coin is visually stunning with deeply gleaming mirrors and thick frosted texture to the devices. The obverse fields have a bold clarity to the watery reflection that flash brilliantly all over. A touch of color caresses the periphery, while the reverse has a wonderful dusting of pastel iridescent toning. The devices are razor sharp. A few minor light lines are seen scattered about, but they are accounted for in the grade. The eye appeal is exceptional, worthy of its lofty grade and CAC approval. Only 960 Proofs were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 2. This one was the most recent example to sell in auction, realizing $10,200 in the 2018 FUN auction, and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $17,500.
