- THE CORINTH COLLECTION A very rare and under appreciated date in this sensational grade. While nearly 1.9 million dimes were struck, this GEM ranks among the 16 highest graded at PCGS, indeed, just 10 are graded MS65 with 1 in MS65+ and five in MS66 at the top of the pop. This coin has a pearly, frosted luster that gleams boldly, enlivening subtle lilac, gold, and russet patina. The devices are sharply impressed and this GEM is very high end for the assigned grade. Housed in a first generation "rattler" holder. PCGS 10, NGC 7, CAC 6. There has not been a PCGS MS65 sold at auction in more than half a decade! While the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,250, this GEM will sell for a very strong price.
