- CANADA. Lower Canada. Penny Token, ND (1813). PCGS AU-58. WE-13; BR-985. Obverse: Wellington bust left, list of his victories in Spain; Reverse: COSSACK PENNY TOKEN, mounted Cossack right. Edge: Security edge. One of the more popular and challenging Canadian token Pennies with deep mahogany surfaces and very little sign of wear. The token's imagery and legends are pertaining to Great Britain's involvement in the Napoleonic war. Only the second example we have presented in the last several years. Estimate: $100 - $200.
