详细说明: This is a date and grade we know well, having offered a small number of them over the course of our last three Regency Auctions, however we have not offered an NGC example yet. This NGC MS61 CAC is a wonderful example of this conditionally RARE issue. While over a million examples fell from the dies, these coins were either exported or melted, or just heavily circulated over the years and disappeared in commercial channels; Mint State coins are rare, with NONE graded higher than MS62 at either NGC or PCGS. Boasting a gorgeous orange-gold patina that is accented by a bold luster, this example has a strong strike, and is devoid of serious contact. While there is some minor contact, the surfaces are not hacked up and the eye appeal is quite appealing. PCGS 85, NGC 65, CAC 23. The last three NGC coins to sell brought $12,000 or $12,600.
