- A truly SUPERB, original Proof 1881 cent--one of only two graded so fine at PCGS, with NONE FINER in the BN designation. Deeply reflective brown surfaces have a delicate overtone of icy mint-green and orange-amber patina. The eye appeal is truly AMAZING! PCGS 2, NGC 5, CAC 2. Back in February 2017 when this coin was UNIQUE at PCGS it sold for $5,875. The other example sold in our December 2017 Regency Auction for $2,585.
