(t) CHINA. Szechuan. 50 Cents, Year 1 (1912). Uncertain Mint, likely Chengdu or Chungking. NGC AU-50. L&M-367; K-784; KM-Y-455; WS-0782. Variety with crossed rosettes. Far nicer than the average, this deeply toned minor exhibits some rich plum color across nearly the entirety of the flan. The strike is strong, with very limited evidence of wearing on the surfaces.
