Old green holder. Lightly toned with deeper shades of gray-brown in areas, mostly on the lower reverse. This is the popular, widely collected and not rare 1802 overdate, of which several minor varieties are known. The strike is excellent for such an early piece, and includes full E PLURIBUS UNUM on the ribbon as well as nice distinct horizontal lines and vertical stripes in the shield.
