- FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION This is a "wild child" for an 1897 Cameo. It has a bold deep contrast. We assure you, this coin is that nice! Blinding mirrors beam from both sides. The mirrors really are that deep and flashy. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that "liquid rolling mercury" look. The mirrors also have excellent clarity and cleanliness overall. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted in deep iridescent silver and are fully struck. The eye appeal is tremendous! Only 731 were minted. PCGS 7, NGC 12, CAC 2. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $23,500 back in November 2016. The current Collectors Universe is a low $20,000. If you seek an ultra-flashy high end 1897, here it is! Good luck!
