- 1891 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-66 Cameo (PCGS). Secure Holder. A wonderfully original and attractively toned Gem, both sides exhibit cobalt-blue rim highlights around lighter copper-apricot centers. The central reverse actually presents as virtually brilliant, and both sides readily reveal strong cameo contrast to the finish. Otherwise smooth, a couple of wispy contact marks in the obverse field are noted solely for accuracy. High Condition Census quality for this, the final proof delivery in the long-lived Seated Half Dollar series.
