Seriously, we really wish more looked like this! Did we say WOW! yet? A very pleasing B-4, BB-61. Your first impression of this beauty is that it is undergraded, and while we make no guarantees, this coin certainly has multiple claims to an AU grade. Light, even, problem free circulation is seen on the highest points and some light friction is seen in the fields. A generous amount of luster remains in the protected areas of the recessed areas of the design types. Rich peach-pewter, olive-russet, and olive-gold patina, totally original evenly blankets the exceptionally CHOICE surfaces, giving this modest collector grade coin a SUPERB look! PCGS 48, NGC 69 (all varieties), CAC 12. There are four auction records for PCGS XF45 CAC graded coins, bringing $9,800 in an April 2019 internet only auction. Prior to that, examples had brought as much as $13,225. Both the CAC CPG and PCGS Price Guide values are listed at $12,000. We think this coin is worth that, or more.
