- FRENCH INDO-CHINA. 20 Centimes, 1889-A. Paris Mint. PCGS PROOF-64. KM-3; Gad-23; Lec-190. Mintage: 100. Tied for third finest certified of the designation with four other examples on the PCGS population report, three finer (PR 65[1] and PR 66[2]). A RAREProof only issue produced during the Exposition Universelleof 1889 (Paris World's Fair). Mirrored surfaces under mottled toning. This attractive and nicely preserved near Gem example boasts a sharp strike with crisp devices and smooth surfaces that retain much reflectively, though slightly subdued in the center of the reverse.
