This visually engaging piece is toned in dominant golden-copper, the peripheries and design elements engaged by rose-brown that provides additional color. The obverse impression is slightly off center to 11 o'clock, border encroaching upon the quatrefoil following the word NOVA, but otherwise all features on this side are complete with bold to sharp detail. Reverse centering is better, most features also boldly to sharply defined, lettering along left border soft, yet discernible. There is plenty of nice gloss, texture hard and frosty, surfaces free of all but tiny marks, pits and a bit of ancient surface scale in isolated areas. Presenting as overall smooth during in hand viewing, this is a lovely example of both the type and variety at the assigned grade level.
