"1787" Fugio Copper. "New Haven Restrike." Newman 104-FF, W-17570. Silver. MS-62 (PCGS). 179.01 grains. A beautiful example of this popular struck copy, coined for Horatio Rust by Scoville Manufacturing in 1859. Rich light blue, gold, and rose toning covers both sides in superb, original fashion. Beautiful and choice, with only a few sparse hairlines, seemingly not enough to reduce the grade below MS-63. As pretty a silver New Haven as a collector could hope to find.
