Impressively well-produced for this crude issue, this piece delivers a strong portrait of Ferdinand VII on the obverse and the Spanish arms on the reverse. Despite the occasional flatness, most of the legend including the crucial date are easily legible. The surfaces are toned to a smoky marbled gray that enhances this SCARCE coin's considerable charm.
