- From the penultimate year of the long-running Liberty Seated dime series, the 1890-S with a mintage of 1,423,076 pieces is readily obtainable in lower circulated grades, but surprisingly scarce in EF, AU and Mint State. Offered is an impressive near-Gem Uncirculated survivor with warm peripheral toning to otherwise frosty-white surfaces. Boldly struck.
