详细说明: GEM 1914-D cents are indeed always in demand and infrequently seen. One of the KEY issues of this series, the mintage was a low 1,193,000 and this 65+ retains ample red coloration to warrant the RB classification. Sharply struck, this beauty has a very high end look. With a brilliant, satiny luster that glows boldly on both sides, the surfaces show off a delicately toned copper color. Aside from a very minor carbon fleck, hidden on the reverse, this lovely coin retains an excellent eye appeal that is otherwise nearly flawless. PCGS 76, NGC 37, CAC 33. There are a mere five examples graded MS65+ RB and just a pair of 66 RBs graded finer at PCGS. The most recent example sold in the 2020 FUN auction for $9,600 and prior to that, another one sold in December 2019 for $8,700. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500 and keep in mind that a 65+ RD with CAC approval would cost over $25,000!
