详细说明: This totally gorgeous mint RED 1941 Doubled Die Obverse Lincoln cent boasts immaculate surfaces. They are blanketed with a full frosty red color that draws the eye form a distance. The die doubling occurred primarily in the obverse legends. It is most clearly visible in ‘TRUST’ and ‘BER’ of ‘LIBERTY’. This stunner will be tough to improve upon. Truly one of the finer examples of the variety with fully defined devices that are brought out by the brilliant, fiery orange coloration. While a well known variety among collectors, these do remain quite rare and are difficult to find in such high grade. We do note a single fleck just below the 1 in the date for accuracy, however the eye appeal is unaffected. PCGS 32, NGC 13, CAC 21. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $4,465, and the current Collector's Universe value is $5,000. This is a real prize for the collector and we know it will bring a strong price.
