Pleasing and frosty, this is a choice example of the last year of the type. Pearly-satiny shimmering luster has a soft, brilliant sheen. Nicely struck from clashed dies, there is just a touch of weakness on the reverse. Generally clean, the eye appeal is very nice. PCGS 53, NGC 34. Don't let the population figures fool you, no PCGS-graded example has sold in nearly seven years at auction, the last one bringing $1,293 in September 2013.
