- Ex Fairmont Collection as noted on the insert. Very HIGH END and fresh looking! This is NOT an average coin by any stretch. A few ticks and tats are visible only with a strong glass, but otherwise, this coin looks like a common date MS64 $5 Liberty! A strong luster also shows off NO discolorations or spots. There is a faint trace of semi-prooflike mirrors when you tilt the coin. The color is a beautiful even gold. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 78, NGC 45, CAC 26. There are 13 in MS63+ at PCGS. The last two examples came from the extensive Fairmont holdings, and sold for $9,000 and $9,600.
