1886 Gold Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). Highly desirable as this later issue Gold Dollar is not only rare, but in Cameo Proof just a handful survive. Fully struck as expected for a Proof, with a small issue of 1,016 pieces the Mint was able to pay close attention to detail. The fields are virtually free of any signs of contact, along with the devices, as this sparkling little jewel is highly appealing. One of the top dozen graded by PCGS in either the Cameo or Deep Cameo designation, and a delight to behold.
