1859 Liberty Double Eagle. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. A condition rarity at this lofty grade level. Boldly struck with rich mint luster on both sides and light copper-gold accents around the devices. Stunning surfaces show minimal bagmarks or circulation nicks. Notice how clean Liberty's face and the surrounding fields are when examining this prize--quality this nice is hard to find on these early double eagles. Only 43,597 pieces struck for circulation.
