THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION This MS63 20-S has a great look and is very high end quality. A strong luster beams boldly on both sides and the fields are extremely brilliant. Accents of soft champagne-rose over the original nickel-silver patina. The reverse die has lots of stress and crumbling at the lower periphery and there are flowlines emanating from around the devices. Generally well struck, there is just a hint of weakness on the bison's head. A couple of tiny ticks are noted on the reverse, but these have no impact on the excellent eye appeal. PCGS 161, NGC 71, CAC 9. The most recent example to sell brought $1,440 in November 2021. The current Collectors Universe value is $1,650 and the CAC CPG value is $1,750.
