1888/88 Indian Cent. Snow-2, FS-302. Repunched Date. MS-63 BN (NGC). Well struck with deep red-brown toning and glints of red-orange luster adhering to some of the devices. Free of surface blemishes or abrasions, with scattered flyspecks that are essentially hidden by the rich patina. The lesser-known of two overdate varieties from this issue; some collectors opine that this is actually a repunched date.
