- 1858 Liberty Head Double Eagle. AU-58 (NGC). CAC. Tinges of iridescent pink on the obverse enliven otherwise bright honey surfaces on this fully original example. Trailing only the 1859, the 1858 is the second rarest Type I Liberty double eagle from the Philadelphia Mint produced during the 1850s.
