FROM THE BIG CYPRESS COLLECTION JR-1, the only pair of dies used to strike all 165,000 dimes in 1807. A lovely representative of this last Draped Bust dime date. Typical peripheral weakness is noted on both sides, but the central details are well struck and even with light wear, are still bold. Deeply toned in shades of slate and battleship blue/gray with lighter silver gray accents in areas. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 20, NGC 3. The most recent example to sell realized $3,600 in the 2020 FUN auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $4,400.
