FROM THE ISSAQUAH ESTATE One thing we know better than anyone-what a true GEM Mint State Seated Dollar should look like. We unhesitatingly call this coin GEM Mint State! We call it an MS64.9+ with out hesitation as well. Incredible surfaces are exceedingly clean and smooth. All we can find (looking really hard with a loop) is a small patch of ticks at 10:00 on the obverse which is well hidden. There are NO other ticks. We grade the reverse a full MS65. There is a faint trace of semi-prooflike mirrors too. A moderate luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy an even light totally original pewter color with splashes of olive/pale blue. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is that of a full GEM coin! PCGS 30, NGC 22, CAC 6. PCGS has graded only 2 coins in MS64+ and 2 coins higher (one of which we placed in our Legend set back in 2004 for $85,000). We placed this coin with the Issaquah Collector in 2017. The last auction record for this date was from January 2017 when a coin fetched $10,575 (a different coin than this). We actually paid much more for this superb piece. We know if you are a super picky buyer and need an 1859-O for your Mint State Seated set or a Type set, this coin will fit all of the toughest requirements. Opportunity can't knock any louder than it does here! Cert. Number 25318671 PCGS # 6947
