- A great Civil War year, which happens to be a generic issue, for a modest price you get a coin that represents a great historical issue. The present coin is a just miss GEM with rich greenish-gold coloration and a beautiful satin frost. Well struck and high end. PCGS 324, NGC 320, CAC 65. Only9 coins have been graded 64+ at PCGS, and none have ever sold in auction. A regular PCGS 64 sold for $705 in November 2016 and a PCGS MS65 sold for $1,645 in August 2016. An NGC MS64+ CAC sold for $1,058 back in 2014. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $975 and that level might be exceeded when this near gem closes!
