beautiful, GEM CAMEO Barber half! Fully frosted devices stand out against deeply reflective mirrored fields; in fact the reverse borders on a DCAM classification if taken on its own. A touch of peripheral toning at the rims frames both sides and gives the eye appeal a little extra "pop." Only 912 proofs were struck. PCGS 20, NGC 7, CAC 6. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $1,939 in our July 2018 Regency Auction. Prior to that even non-CAC coins were selling in the $2,280 to $2,760 range.
