- This is one of the finest certified 1909 Half Eagles! The surfaces are incredible with strong Mint luster throughout and exceptional orange-teal tints that attest to its originality. The fields and devices are free of any disturbances that distract the eye. It would be hard to imagine a higher technical grade on one of these elusive Indian Half Eagles. as precious few attain the gem grade these days and finding an MS66 of any date is a real challenge. Tied with five others at NGC and seven at PCGS as the finest those grading services have seen. PCGS 7, NGC 6.
