Obverse: Half-length portrait of Martin Luther; Reverse: City view of Wittenberg; radiant sun at right horizon, light being reflected by mirror set on a hill in the foreground. A wonderful and handsome medal, deliver rich luster throughout and escaping any signs of contact, with just a limited amount of friction likely accounting for the grade assigned.
