This coin is the epitome of total perfection! The quality is mind boggling! All we can find using a strong glass is one tiny grease dot. We think that is all that is keeping this piece from grading an MS68. The surfaces are perfect and are satiny smooth. A partial band of original golden brown frames the peripheries on the obverse and most of the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is sensational! PCGS 3, NGC 4, CAC 7. PCGS has graded possibly 5 in MS67+ with just one in MS68. The last PCGS CAC MS67+ to sell in auction brought $10,575 in June 2014.
