FROM THE M & S PETTY COLLECTION This is a very high end and CHOICE example of this conditionally challenging date. Frosty brilliant and semi-Prooflike luster beams from all over. An iridescent shimmering white-sliver hue is imbued with hints of the palest gold hints. The devices are sharply struck and have a thick frost. There are a few tiny ticks and traces of contact account for the grade and they have little impact on the visual allure. PCGS 12, NGC 8. The most recent example sold back in January 2018 for $11,400. That was forever ago. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $14,000 With just four graded finer, and any MS65 today would be worth $40,000+, this high end looking MS64 should bring spirited bidding from the advanced collector.
