- 1933 United States Assay Commission Medal. By John R. Sinnock and Adam Pietz. JK AC-78. Rarity-4. Bronze. MS-63 (NGC). 51 mm. Bright golden-bronze patina with a few light spots precluding a higher grade. Secretary of the Treasury Ogden L. Mills appears on the obverse of this issue, one of the more readily obtainable Assay Commission medals of its era. Even so, we have handled fewer than 10 different specimens over the last 15 or so years, including two in the Keusch Collection (Stack's, November 2008).
