FROM THE BANKER COLLECTION Ex Simpson Collection. When we first offered the Bob Simpson Standard Silver Patterns, this Rarity-6+ dime, struck in silver with a reeded edge, was this cataloger's (GC) favorite coin! A standout among the many GEMS and SUPERB GEMS, this coin has a MONSTER look! This coin has AMAZING toning! First, the mirrors are deep and beam from all over. They have bold clarity and are clean too. The highlight of this coin is monster totally original royal blue/gold/lime/tangerine/violet colors that circle the obverse. The reverse has a U shaped covering of the same killer colors. Miss Liberty and the details stand out with stunning thick creamy white frost. On an eye appeal scale of 1-10-this coin easily hits 11! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. We do not know where Collectors Universe gets their value of $3,200, but this beauty brought $3,878 in our January 2017 auction.
