- 1867 Pattern Five-Cent Piece. Judd-561, Pollock-622. Rarity-5. Aluminum. Plain Edge. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). Obverse with head of Liberty left, feathers and stars in hair, UNION & LIBERTY on hair ribbon, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, date below, LONGACRE F. in tiny letters beneath truncation, reverse with Roman numeral V on fancy federal-style shield, IN GOD WE TRUST arcs above, no stated denomination. Boldly brilliant and equally lustrous silver surfaces exhibit frosty motifs set against reflective fields. The uspatterns.com website notes: "It is believed that 100 of these were struck per J.
