- Huge Shades Consignment. Specimens brought up from shipwrecks have helped elevate the supply of 1865-S double-eagles, but vintage examples in the upper "about-uncirculated" range remain very popular. Considerable yellow-gold luster dominates either side despite an interesting strike that was imparted off of older dies. An advanced network of die-cracks on either side confirms this. An honestly worn coin, there are no major blemishes of note.
