详细说明: 1800 Capped Bust Right Half Eagle. BD-2. Rarity-3+. AU-55 (PCGS). The rich gold and orange-red patina on this 1800 half eagle creates a high degree of visual appeal, and the design motifs are remarkably crisp in most areas. Only the eagle's breast feathers and arrow fletchings are somewhat softly defined as nearly always seen on these. Wispy hairlines and few trivial contact marks are minimally distracting on each side of this captivating coin. The surfaces are a delight to examine, and in this lofty state of preservation afford the numismatist a good opportunity to study the intricacies of this design. It is estimated that about 175 to 250 pieces are known of the variety today. This high level example will attract bids from many directions.
